Loved the weekly update. Being able to share with family and friends was priceless. A few comments: -Customer should choose where to put floor switch. I had no say. -Would LOVE to know how my Master Bath ended up with 2 different schluder (spelling?) colors. VERY DISAPPOINTED. -Fire place surround still looks AWFUL. 😣 I’d challenge any BH staff, to see if this is satisfactory for their home. Overall a good experience. Thank you.

While our experience with Brown Haven Homes has been good, it was somewhat disappointing. Quality control needs a reboot, as well as looking at your tradesmen to ensure the quality that you promise is obtained. The Painting team on our house was less than desirable in fact, we are considering having the whole house repainted that’s how awful it is. Quite honestly, we shouldn’t even have to consider repainting with a brand new build. We mentioned our concerns about the painting to our project manager numerous times and how disappointed we were in the quality, care and workmanship. Each time he guaranteed it will be taken care of. Well, needless to say on the day of our walk-through, many of these issues were not addressed. And if they were, not at any type of level that was acceptable. We’re noticing more and more paint stains on our floor. That I’m sure will take quite a while to come out. The tile people that worked on our house are mediocre at best. Unfortunately, it’s not until you’re actually in your home that you start to notice the true quality and care given by the people working on your home build. With that being said, while our experience was somewhat disappoint pointing due to lack of quality control we can recommend Brown Haven Homes, but with caution.

We love our new home. Brown Haven has been very responsive in all phases of the process, from sales, build and warranty. Due to the speed of the build, we did feel some of the craftsmanship details were missed. But the turn time was amazing and the portal was fantastic keeping us up to date. There are some imperfections but overall it’s wonderful. The warranty department has been working with us on some minor things and spent quite a bit of time to correct some cosmetic things as well as some small fixes. They did show their integrity early on by providing an extra perk as some of the material came in less than budgeted for. We would highly recommend Brown Haven homes to others and have already referred them. They are one of the few builders that actually respond and are eager to build your home. We walked in unexpectedly and they graciously accommodated us and from start to finish built us a new home in well under a year. Construction took 4.5 months, which is phenomenal. Matt, Cody, Alyssa and Ben have been a pleasure to work with and have made us feel welcome and part of the Brown Haven family all along.

Starting with process, we appreciated the cost model Brownhaven uses for a semi custom home. From what we read, managing costs can be a challenge but with Brownhaven we had a good grasp from beginning to end about what we would pay. Second, staff were excellent. Working with Chris in the lot search to Angelica in design and finishing with Sam through the construction - everyone was professional and demonstrated great passion in the process.

Everything was great throughout the process, however there are still a few pending things that im waiting to hear back from our construction manager that were discovered at the walk through which was at the end of April and need resolution. Everyone has been kind and knowledgeable. Just waiting on this one last thing.

Mason our Project Manager was responsive and caring. We were not capable of choosing all the design options in the time available and would have changed some of the outcome particularly in the cabinetry. We were not completely satisfied with the design offerings, especially for the kitchen offerings that are "builder grade" instead of higher grade options. Construction was timely and solid but the finish carpentry and painting left something to be desired. Still dealing with an electrical issue.
