We are enjoying our new home. Mitchell was our sales associate and he was personable and knowledgeable regarding our numerous questions. A major disappointment was within two weeks of moving into our home, the first rain we had water leaking a fairly significant amount in one of the ensuite bathrooms. To make matters worse, the two transom windows in the kitchen were also leaking. When we contacted Pro Home on Saturday, they said it only was a "semi-emergency" and the company had 48 hours to get in contact with us. We were extremely upset and taken back by this response. Three months later we are still having warranty work completed from this incident - water damage to the attic insulation, painting and work on the transom windows.

We have built three houses all with different builders and although our experience was not terrible the other builders we have used seem to have a more personal touch and more upfront with all upgrade options and costs. Our construction manager was absolutely amazing and bent over backwards to help and provide answers. He is actually still trying to help as we have had water seeping over our sidewalk during the entire build and it’s an ongoing issue. We moved into our home in the winter and now being cited by the HOA because of a dead tree. We had no way of knowing in February that the tree was dead. We feel pacesetter might cater more to people moving into pre-built homes than people trying to customize their own. We tried to add some windows in a few weeks after signing initial paperwork and were told we couldn’t. The house wasn’t even started for months after that. Our blinds were missing at move-in. The “smart home” selling point is lackluster at best. A light switch with a screen and a ring doorbell that you have to subscribe to be able to view and use. The house is great but I think the over all experience could be improved upon.

Outwardly, my home looks beautiful as well as the inside, when things aren’t looked upon closely. I would like to be contacted by Pacesetters’ claim department regarding the promises made to me that were not fulfilled. And work on my home that still havent been completely resolved. I also paid for a 3rd. Party Inspection that has not been reported back to me as corrected. I have pictures and videos of the workmanship of my house. Some have been provided to Pacesetter that I’ve communicated with. And it’s been over a month now with issues not resolved. It would appear that I’m expected to let it go. However, I am not. We had an incredible buying experience with Pacesetter. Stephanie is amazing and was a huge reason we decided to go with Pacesetter. But the experience kept getting better. Craig was great and made all the repairs we agreed upon in a timely manner. I would recommend Pacesetter to anyone.
