Our agent Chris from the first meet and greet through the closing was excellent. Very helpful and knowledgeable. I already recommended him to several folks. Our overall experience was great. The home is lovely. For the builder I would suggest more electrical outlets in the hallway of our home is needed, I noticed in another model of our home they're added in hallway and our living room ceiling light is not centered, but has been corrected in other models. Our model should have a light switch on the left wall entering into the dinning room and it doesn't. The other concern would be the ant mounds in the yard, the builder should have kept the yards sprayed until closing because our garage was covered in ants, they are red ants, it was an unpleasant experience.

The only thing I change is how the closing money is handled. I had the paperwork showing the wire deposit was completed but due to the bank processing it took a few hours longer. Even after calling the bank with Meritage we still had to wait 2 hrs. Not ideal.

The entire experience, from the sales manager to the construction manager, has been incredibly pleasant. They’ve all been incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the process. I purchased this home without ever visiting the site, and all the transactions were conducted virtually. The sales manager was instrumental in guiding me through every step of the process, from understanding the process to providing regular updates on the photos and construction status. She also assisted with the loan process, virtual tours, and walkthroughs, which provided us with a wealth of information. Even after we moved in, she repeated some of the details to ensure that we were fully informed. Similarly, the construction manager was very helpful. He visited me when I moved in and assured me that he would be there to help me with anything I needed. His welcoming attitude and willingness to assist built a strong trust between us. Since that day, he has been a constant source of support and guidance.

Meritage made things as simple and easy as possible for me. Dayana was and still is a huge help for me, and an easy contact for any questions I may have. Chris, the construction manager, was just as thorough as I was at correcting any issues with the house. I was very confident with the team I was given.

We had the pleasure of working with Dayana, no questions was too small, and she always made us fell like a priority. Dayana went above and beyond by providing us with market insights and helping us navigate the entire buying process seamlessly.
