We felt like we were not given the options that we could have gotten in building our home because we didn't know the right questions to ask. The process seemed rushed. After we signed the closing documents we feel like our concerns are not being addressed now that it is "completed." We still have missing pieces on our house and the communication has dropped off almost completely. We had the 60 day walk through with issues and so far only 2 things have been addressed and only by us contacting the warranty dept directly. We have downspouts that are missing pieces, the water spigot on the side of the house (that we were told could not go where we wanted it at the back of the house) is eye level with me because of the lack of fill dirt, we have cabinet doors that open into everything instead of stopping (one hinge actually stops the door at 90 degrees while the rest of the kitchen just bang into the fridge, oven and other appliances. The toilets clog very easily and I don't recall being given an option on what brand of toilet we COULD have gotten.

This was my first time building a home and I had no expectation of what the process would be like. I heard horror stories from other friends. I was surprised when I didn't experience anything bad during our build. My questions were answered promptly and my site supervisor Nate was excellent.
