JTB was great to work with. You made the design process so much less onerous than we thought. You were great with keeping us up to date with challenges and triumphs during the build and finished right on time. Communication was excellent and tailored to us, knowing we were details people. NoviHome was nice, though it would be nice to have a desktop version of the chat function when typing long responses. Warranty fixes have been prompt and performed with quality. The only recommendation I have is not to require a transfer number for Consumers prior to closing; an account number will suffice. I rushed the submission process before having the deed signed and have been battling with Consumers for 2 months. Make sure homebuyers wait to submit their paperwork to Consumers until they can provide the signed Warranty Deed. That is the file they need.

The customer service of JTB was very poor. The only positive we’ve had is with Connie and our design team. The responsiveness was poor. Lack of communication and lack of transparency during building process. We love our home, but the experience was awful.

Overall good experience. Some issues at the end of the project including getting yard a final grade. Homes completed before ours due to escrow issues with banks. (according to JTB rep)We felt penalized because we paid in full at closing

The overall experience was positive. There were a few glitches where it seemed like the builder didn't follow our specific choices but went with what was typical or usually selected. Examples include having to dig through the concrete basement floor to add plumbing for the wet bar - that should have been done when the concrete was poured. Another example was the shower niche being put on the wrong shower wall. Almost seemed in those cases that the plans were not consulted and the contractor just did it the "usual way."

The overall experience was more positive than negative, although both the design phase and the time leading up to closing felt very rushed. The list from our final walkthrough was extensive and has largely not been addressed since closing. We are now over sixty days out from closing, and communication from JTB before closing was very prompt; however, after closing, messages have often gone unanswered, even through the app. We are currently at a standstill waiting for work to be completed. We cannot finish our yard or landscaping because final grading has not been completed. While the warranty team has been very responsive, JTB itself has not been.
