I found that Hartford Homes was unbudgeable on items that they should have been in listening to homebuyers that bought from other companies. While I feel the quality of the home is there, I don't feel as if I really got quality treatment that would be commensurate. This factor on its own dragged every other category down.

I was genuinely impressed with my home-buying experience with Hartford. The entire process was straightforward, well-communicated, and supported by a team that stayed actively involved from start to finish. I’m truly grateful for the level of care and clarity they provided. I would absolutely recommend Hartford Homes, and I would confidently purchase with them again in the future.

We had an excellent experience with Hartford Homes! This is my husband's and mine first house and we're glad we chose Hartford Homes. The team has been very responsive and helpful throughout the whole process, the milestones have been reached exactly when expected, the quality of our house is excellent.

The overall Hartford experience was just "ok". This is the 3rd home I have built with 3 different builders. I have also had 2 MAJOR home renos over the years. So I am very familiar with options, craftsmanship, quality or work by the trades and the sales through warranty experience. The good is that in a world where most builders are going 100% spec home, Hartford still allows some customization. This to me is the reason people build homes. Choosing their finishes/colors/options, etc. The issue was with quality. Crooked walls (some which had to be floated), squeaks in floors that have yet to be resolved even though it was mentioned at pre-closing, poor quality interior paint job (no primer...just sprayed on...and not the "eggshell" finish sales said would be used), and other signs the trades just rush in, and rush out.
