Ed was terribly rude, belittling and negative. His requirements were unrealistic for purchasing a home via financing. I purchased 1 unit cash, and the second unit was financed. He made it very difficult and I ended up having to bridge the gap between his requirements and the banks requirements with my own funds and risk. It felt like he believes that he is a tough negotiator and got the deal done his way. I see him as egotistical and extremely hard to work with. We did not get the deal done because of him, I got the deal done in-spite of him. I was ready to walk away, but I did significantly want the unit across the hall so I made it work even though it was a terrible experience. I am not the only one. Multiple people I spoke with through all of the processes, Cole West, Finance Company, City offices and title company shared the same experience. Ed is giving Cole West a globally negative reputation.

They were fantastic. Veronica was very helpful start to finish. She helped overcome a few hurdles. She did it professionally and was very quick. Would absolutely work with her again. The office staff has also been incredibly timely in coordinating and communicating payment on the lease back. Over all very impressed.

I will repeat my answer above with one addition. Every person I dealt with at Cole West was wonderful except for Ed. He ruined it for me. Honestly, I won’t say who but more than one person in my buying process hinted that others have had poor experiences with Ed also. The discussion is getting around. Here is my repeat… This is the second condo we purchased in Terra. We are looking to buy more units in the future. I will NEVER buy a unit if I have to deal with the VP Ed again. My agent and I were treated so poorly. I bought the second unit in spite of not, not because of him. He literally yelled at my agent on the phone, then refused phone calls. He was unrealistic and unfair for his due diligence requirements for my financing. This is my second unit and I was acting in good faith. He really ruined the experience for me. Honestly I am looking at other developers because of him. Such a bad experience with him.
