Review of Overall Experience

We bought a speck home, and we’re not able to make any changes or additions to it even though it had not been started yet. Definitely a negative. We would have added the “optional cupboards” in the laundry room, the stop and drop, the MB bathroom AND in the loft. Now we’re looking at furniture that will “fit”. Totally looks unprofessional and in my opinion is less functional and devalues the house. We also couldn’t add electrical outlets, or computer wiring to two more places, which has been a nightmare afterwards. Simple things that actually COULD HAVE BEEN done, now just make us mad. We’re reminded what an inconvenience and waste of money it was every time it comes up which is almost everyday. We are also very unhappy and would NOT recommend because of the lack of storage. No hand towel racks, and no medicine cabinets. Like why not? Just to be extra annoying. It was very expensive to buy this house and I can hear EVERYTHING everywhere!! A cupboard closing, a door closing, footsteps, dogs barking next door inside the neighbors house, traffic, etc. it was either poorly made or poorly insulated, or both I’m guessing. I also can’t get hot water for 10 mins and at best it’s luke warm. What’s the point if being “energy efficient” or conservative, when you have your run the water for 3times as long to get it warm or flush 3 times to get one mess. I attended an event the other day, and it was riddled with very shady, unclean and questionable people. It lended itself to the Apache Junction stereo type, and I’m just thinking we bought a very expensive house in the middle of Walmart. And that it will subject to crime, when the city invites these people into our neighborhood for events and they come from trailer parks. It better be worth the club house and special events. Because so far it’s been worse than our experience at Eastmark. But we still recommend them. At least they’re in Mesa and the people almost immediately were holding up a certain standard and community involvement.

Review of Overall Experience

Overall, Brookfield was tremendous. Very responsive to my needs for the home. Outside of some minor issues that should have been taken care up front, the buying experience was great.
